  12. Note from Uploader: This package contains the files necessary to update to
  13. version 1.02 of ICOM Simulation's game "Sherlock Holmes, Consulting
  14. Detective." This version of Sherlock Holmes cures problems that were
  15. encountered when using some nonstandard configurations of video and sound
  16. cards.

  18. This file is intended for use by current owners of Sherlock Holmes. It does
  19. not contain any of the necessary data files which are required. Only owners
  20. of the existing CD will find this package useful. This package contains
  21. copyrighted software. It is not being released into the public domain.
  22. However, it may be freely distributed so long as the files contained within
  23. this package are left intact.

  25. To use the updated version of Sherlock, copy the SHERLOCK.EXE file 
  26. included in this package onto your hard drive or a floppy disk. Change to the
  27. directory where the new SHERLOCK.EXE file is located and type "SHERLOCK". The
  28. program will automatically find the CD drive containing Sherlock Holmes.
